We are becoming co-dependent upon the Internet, the most reliable machine ever built.  The WWW has only been around for about 5000 days (as of 2007, when the talk was given – soon will be 6000 – by 2010).  It has had zero down time and is roughly equal to one human brain in the number of connections and so forth (please see the video for details).

The TED Talks have long been one of my top viewing choices, including TV, YouTube and the rest.  It is nice that WordPress allows embedding directly now.

Many of my other  posts that include TED talks, rely on YouTube versions.
