[ open source science fiction - open source music - science - philosophy - poetry ]
Welcome to Upgrade01A, the world’s first explicitly open source fiction blog**! This blog will eventually contain many short stories (some very short).
Most stories will change over time and will generally contain interesting or entertaining links. Since the stories are open source, copies may be made, so that the stories may replicate, and mutate in many interesting directions.
- Upgrade Zero One A ©, the world’s first (or second?) open source science fiction
- John and Jerry (part I) Eventually, the relationship of this story to “Upgrade Zero One A” will be revealed.
- The Station not so much a story as it is a detailed explanation of ‘The Station’ in “Upgrade Zero One A” More details will follow.
- I Was Hoping - a poem referenced in the story ‘Upgrade Zero One A’
Links may be changed and updated. Chunks of a story may be inserted into other stories. An entire story, chapter or subset may be referenced in other stories; both within this blog, and from other sites.
All are welcome to comment and post (just ask in a comment and I will add you as an author). Positive suggestions may cause some of the stories and links to mutate.
Due to the dynamic nature of the content within, visitors are forewarned that stories and links may slowly change at the author’s discretion.
If you have already read a story, it may be entertaining to check back from time-to-time to see if the story and its links have become even more entertaining.
Editing often occurs on the spot. One may sometimes notice a change simply by pressing the refresh button.Other authors are invited to provide links and/or contribute to this blog. New ideas and suggestions are very welcome here!
Please leave comments…
For additional entertainment, please visit the Dictionary, More Posts , Not God Videos, More Links , Music, and see Menu above for all selections…
Please feel free to ask questions! If you do not understand something, or disagree with something, I encourage you to state your point of view.
No two people have exactly the same world view. Everyone is surely wrong about some things (most things?). Everyone is ignorant about some things (most things?).
Consider the following: No matter what your worldview is, most people think you are wrong.

Hey I just read your comment. Ironically, the story I wrote in yesterday is sci-fi. And I do like poetry as well.
Currently, my story is in quite a few note books. I have not much typed up, it’s a project I hope to start this autumn.

The religionandatheism team think your blog is very accomplished. Congratulations on your open-source philosophy in particular. We’re trying to do something similar but with a slightly different feel. But we think you’re really onto a winner! We’ll definitely link you on our site!
